A Vintage Watch Restoration including Dial Refinishing
On this edition of the Before & After Series, we take a look at a vintage watch that was no longer water resistant, had a very worn case, and had some corrosion.
- Sourcing of original parts, including for its movement (mainspring, balance comp., back gasket)
- Interior cleaning
- Dial refinishing
- Stem & crown replacement
- Adjustment of parts
Then we finished the repair with a Clean and Polish and there you go. A vintage watch restored and ready to tell you the time again.
