A Ring Stone Replacement and Prong Repair
On this edition of Weekly Before & After series, we have a 10k White Gold Diamond Engagement Ring that needed to be sized up 3 sizes. Ring sizing is one of the most common repairs that we receive in our facility, and it makes sense as engagement rings are usually the first (and one of the most sentimental) pieces that a person receives.
For this ring repair process, we had to:
- Size the ring up 3 sizes
- Perform a professional Clean & Polish
- Apply with a Rhodium finish for its proper shine
There are some cases in which some ring sizings require much more effort and skill to complete the repair. Design features such as ornate patterns, gemstones settings, and metal type can all affect the process of your ring being sized either up or down.
