An Aquamarine Ring Repair
On this edition of the Before & After series, we have a 10ky wedding ring set that had completely lost its center setting.
When we receive repairs for gemstone replacements, it is common that the side stones are usually the stones that are missing, and is more uncommon to see that the center gemstone is missing. In this case, it was unfortunate the owner had lose the center diamond and its setting altogether. Not to worry, though, as our experienced jewelers fixed this wedding ring set in no time!
For this ring repair, we had to:
- Figure out the style of new setting needed
- Supply a new cluster setting with diamonds
- Rebuild the bridge
- Check all of the other stones to make sure they’re all secure in their settings
It is then all wrapped up with our signature clean and polish and it’s good to go!
