An Aquamarine Ring Repair
On this edition of the Before & After, we have a sapphire ring that was passed down from a grandfather as a gift.
Unfortunately, the original blue colored gemstone fell out of its setting and this sentimental gift was due for an important service. Our Professional Parts Sourcing Team was able to provide different options to replace the missing original stone in order to restore it to its former glory.
For this ring repair, we had to:
- Provide multiple options to replace the center stone which included a faceted sapphire, a synthetic sapphire, a lab created sapphire, and a natural sapphire
- Perform a Gemstone Setting Service with the chosen new synthetic blue sapphire
- Give a thorough Clean & Polish and re-dip the ring in yellow gold
An additional preexisting condition of the ring was some wear & tear of the ring itself, which was a simple fix!
Our Team makes sure our customers are satisfied with the options that they choose, especially for a piece with such sentimental value. We understand how important your jewelry and watches can be, and that’s why we are dedicated to restoring your memories!
