Before & After #29

On this edition of the Before & After Series, we take a look at a silver ring that had a bent shank, had damaged prongs, and needed a stone replacement.

For this repair, the following was required:

• Source the new appropriate stone
• Straighten the shank
• Rebuild two prongs
• Re-tip all prongs
• Set the new stone

Then all that was needed was a Clean & Polish and there we go! A ring restored to look like new!
