Before & After #69

On this edition of the Before & After series, we have a Citizen Eco Drive Timepiece that had a chipped crystal. When it comes to cracked crystals like this, it’s important to check the integrity of the watch movement. It’s possible that a damaged crystal can have tiny glass particles fall into the watch’s movement, which can further damage the timepiece overall.

For this watch repair process, we had to:

• Carefully remove the damaged crystal
• Inspect for any glass fragments or damage to the movement
• Provide a watch crystal replacement
