A Sapphire Stone Replacement
On this edition of the Weekly Before & After, we have a 14ky LeVian Ring that had it’s center sapphire gemstone fall out.
When we receive repairs such as this, it is most common that the side stones of these rings are in need of replacement and resetting, as it is more uncommon for the main stones to be missing.
For this ring repair, we had to:
- Source and supply a new sapphire gemstone
- Set the sapphire in its center setting
- Retip the prongs
- Apply black rhodium
It is then all wrapped up with our signature rhodium clean and polish and it’s good to go!
