Stone Replacement on an Invisible Setting Ring
On this edition of the Before & After Series, we focus on a white gold ring with a missing diamond in an invisible setting. Invisible setting jewelry is very tricky to deal with and requires a very experienced Master Jeweler. That is why you will often find many jewelers will not attempt to work on them.
For this repair project, we had to:
- Replace the princess cut diamond
- Groove the stone to fit properly into the unique setting
- Set the stone in the invisible setting
- Finish with a rhodium clean and polish
