A Diamond Engagement Ring Missing Stone Repair
On this edition of the Before & After series, we have a 10kw diamond engagement ring that had a diamond fall out and had scratches on the shank.
The scratches were normal as it was from daily wear and tear, however, it is important to service your sentimental rings routinely to check the stones and to keep your piece in pristine condition.
For this ring repair, we had to:
- Source and supply a new diamond gemstone
- Set the new diamond in the setting
- Retip the prongs
- Secure all the stones to make sure they don’t get loose again
